One afternoon, we traded our little kingdom in Ghent for the tastiest republic we could think of:
Sergio Herman’s Air Republic.
The clock struck noon, and off we went. Our music turned up, our stomachs growling, our expectations high.
And credit where credit’s due: it was absolutely fantastic. A journey from start to finish.

After a tasty afternoon, we waddled out of the restaurant. A few pounds heavier? Perhaps, but feeling like we could walk on air. (We tried later on during a beach walk, we couldn’t.)
