To boost the awareness and consideration of Aperol Spritz during the summer across Belgium and position the brand as a catalyst for sparkling moments with friends.
‘It starts with Aperol Spritz’ marks the launch of Aperol’s new brand campaign, which is rolled out across Europe. We set up an integrated media strategy to position Aperol Spritz as the ideal way to start great summertime moments together and claim orange as the new apero in Belgium. Aperol Spritz is depicted as the social connector between people and moments.
We add a social twist to the media plan by launching an online activation that triggers fans and friends to share their ‘sparkling moments’ using a series of Aperol-branded GIFs.
For 50 days straight, fans could win an exclusive Aperol Spritz package, simply by sharing one of the sparklingAperol GIFs from ItStartsWithAperol.be.
APEROL x DELIVEROO
We created a unique Orange Booth together with Deliveroo, giving away amazing prizes with every orange, ranging from Deliveroo discounts to unique Aperol surprises. The booth popped up at some of Flanders' most vibrant apero spots, kick-starting the fun.
Aperol Spritz’s general performance continues to rise throughout Belgium, across both retailers and bars. Turning consideration into trial. Our social campaign enabled us to reach more than
33,000 sessions and create over 22,000 connections on Facebook, increasing Aperol Spritz’ online visibility by more than 214,000 impressions across Flanders. Over 1,000 people also engaged with the brand via the Orange Booth.
