BRIEF

How can we relaunch Vliegtickets.be on social and increase its relevance among Belgian travellers? How can we build overall brand recognition while strengthening its position on the Belgian market?

SOLUTION

We created a flexible, contemporary and socially-native design, which can be activated at a moment’s notice for maximum impact. Sparking unique conversations on the brand’s social platforms on a daily basis while at the same time activating the Belgian social community, through relevant, bite-size travel content.

On top of all that, we created a "travel buddy" who not only offers great tips and amazing deals but also gives the brand a familiar and lovable face.

This new brand character played a leading role in the ‘exclusively online’ commercial on YouTube and Facebook.

RESULTS

The relaunch reached over 860,000 people on Facebook (a figure that continues to rise daily!). We earned more than 3,500 new page likes (and counting) building great awareness and recognition for the brand in Belgium. The YouTube commercial tallies more than 300,000 views and at the time of writing, has generated around 20,000 clicks to the website!
