The 25th and 26th September one of our team members went to Knowledge Exchange 2014 in London. A two day conference filled with seminars, case studies and presentations from international thought leaders within the tourism industry. Focus: think digital. The most important takeaways from a two day dive into tourism waters: (1) good content is still king for travel destinations, (2) mobile is key in telling / sharing your story and (3) touristic information is always contextual.
Ooh and Tine Thygesen from Everplaces added some rock and roll by preaching to care less, take more risks and burn money. Would she be an Ice Cube fan? Get money, spend money!
